Soccer Game Preview: Lake Gibson vs. Auburndale + Official Tickets

The Lake Gibson Braves are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Auburndale Bloodhounds at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lake Gibson is headed out to face Auburndale after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Braves' defense stepped up to hand Mulberry a 5-0 shutout on Monday.

Lake Gibson hit the Panthers with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jedidiah Douglas (2), Esteban Figueroa, Hagen Booth, and Ian Beeks.

Meanwhile, Auburndale got the win against Frostproof on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Lake Gibson beat Auburndale by a goal when the teams last played back in January, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
