Soccer Recap: Lafayette Finds Playoff Glory Versus Medina

It's playoff time, and Lafayette had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Medina Mustangs 2-1 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lafayette also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2016.

Eca Kabeza and Issack Mema scored both of Lafayette's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Lafayette has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2-1 record this season. As for Medina, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.

Lafayette wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Griffith Institute on the 30th. Medina does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
