Football Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Riverside had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-6 to make it six. They fell 30-21 to the Deer Park Stags. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 41-14 to the Stags when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Riverside lost, don't look at Ethan Wiltfong. Despite the final result, he rushed for 45 yards and one score.

As for Deer Park, their win bumped their record up to 3-5. That looming 30-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

A big part of Deer Park's victory came down to the chemistry between Ian Olietti and his top target Kale Blades. Olietti threw for 119 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes while Blades picked up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Riverside will venture away from home to square off against Pullman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Deer Park, they will head out to take on Rogers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
