Volleyball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frankfort can now relate to. They fell just short of the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Abby Casteel paced Frankfort's offense, picking up eight kills. Casteel got some help from Reese James and her 29 assists. James was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Carley Pearson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high.

Frankfort has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-24 record this season. As for Anna-Jonesboro, their victory bumped their record up to 6-26.

Frankfort does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anna-Jonesboro, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Carterville on the 28th.
