Basketball Recap: Frederick Piles Up the Points Against Loveland + How To Watch

Frederick won the last time they faced Loveland and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Golden Eagles breezed past the Red Wolves to the tune of 90-51.

Olly Justice had a dynamite game, shooting 64% from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and six rebounds. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dante Lechuga, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine assists.

Frederick was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They racked up 13 more assists than Loveland's also-impressive total of 11.

Loveland's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Pierce, who posted 18 points and seven boards. Wyatt Harlow was another key player, putting up 18 points and eight rebounds.

The win got Frederick back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Frederick will host Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Loveland, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Berthoud at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
