Volleyball Recap: Twin Loup Comes Up Short

Twin Loup was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Rebels when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Arcadia/Loup City scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Jaelynn Blackburn paced Twin Loup's offense, picking up eight kills. Blackburn got some help from LoReena Schauda and her seven assists.

Player #09 was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs.

Twin Loup's loss dropped their record down to 3-26. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they moved to 9-17 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Twin Loup has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Palmer on the 27th. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller on the 21st.
