Basketball Recap: Jaliyah Williams-Ellis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead EPIC Academy over Dunbar

EPIC Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dunbar Mightymen.

EPIC Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaliyah Williams-Ellis, who posted 11 points. Mariah Clark was another key player, putting up nine points.

EPIC Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dunbar, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

EPIC Academy will venture away from home to square off against Gage Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. EPIC Academy's defense has only allowed 25 points per game this season, so Gage Park's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Dunbar, they will face off against Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
