After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Auburn Adventist finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Auburn Adventist came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fifth in Washington, while Portland Adventist Academy are ranked 55th in Oregon).
