Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Harmony Science Academy entered their tilt with Meridian on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Meridian Lions by a score of 39-26. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

It was another big night for Jana Nour, who posted 21 points. Alexis Sisbarro was another key player, putting up five points.

Harmony Science Academy's record now sits at 10-2. As for Meridian, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmony Science Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Meridian at 6:45 p.m. on January 13, 2025. After both having extra time off, Meridian and Texas Empowerment Academy will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
