Manor New Tech have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by Taylor 65-21 on Friday. Manor New Tech has not had much luck with Taylor recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Taylor was led to victory by Asia Zachary and Madyson Mitchell. Zachary scored 13 points along with five steals, while Mitchell scored 17 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Mitchell's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Kionayh Rivers was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Manor New Tech's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4. As for Taylor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manor New Tech will be home for the holidays to greet Smithville at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor will be home for the holidays to greet La Grange at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully La Grange focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
