Volleyball Game Preview: Morton/White Pass Timberwolves vs. Onalaska Loggers

The Morton/White Pass Timberwolves will venture away from home to square off against the Onalaska Loggers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Morton/White Pass and Napavine meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Timberwolves fell 3-1 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Onalaska hadn't done well against Mossyrock recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Loggers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vikings 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Loggers, who have now won five matches in a row.

Onalaska's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Morton/White Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Morton/White Pass suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Onalaska when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
