Soccer Game Preview: Panther Creek vs. Broughton

The Panther Creek Catamounts will square off against the Broughton Capitals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Panther Creek's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Wednesday, Panther Creek came up short against Apex Friendship and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Panther Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 312th, while Apex Friendship are ranked 60th).

Meanwhile, Broughton didn't have quite enough to beat Leesville Road on Wednesday and fell 2-1. Broughton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Panther Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Broughton, they now have a losing record of 3-4-3.
