Basketball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Jefferson on Tuesday, Robinson came back down to earth. The Knights were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 57-56 to the Plant City Raiders. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Robinson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tylan Lewis, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 16 points and three steals, and Zyon Floyd, who posted 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, Lewis now owns an excellent 46.2% shooting accuracy. Derrick Lester was another key player, putting up nine points.

Plant City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Simeon Hogan led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Hogan a new career-high in blocks (four). Another player making a difference was Akeim Young, who shot 60% from the field en route to 15 points and eight assists.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Plant City, their record now sits at 2-4.

Robinson has already played their next game, a 79-40 defeat against Gaither on the 5th. As for Plant City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-59 victory against Spoto on the 5th.
