Soccer Recap: Madison County Comes Up Short

Madison County lost against Central Woodstock back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountaineers fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Madison County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Central Woodstock, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Madison County is set to face off against their familiar foe Luray at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central Woodstock will square off against rival Rappahannock County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
