Basketball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Comes Up Short

ALA - Gilbert North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Combs Coyotes. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Coyotes earlier this season, when they won 34-21.

Heather Jo Bush was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Combs. Bush is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ambriah Lujan, who posted nine points and three steals.

ALA - Gilbert North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Combs, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither ALA - Gilbert North nor Combs have any future games scheduled.
