Basketball Recap: Tranquillity Takes a Loss

Tranquillity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dos Palos Broncos, falling 39-18. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-5.

Joseline Wells was Tranquillity's leading scorer, having posted eight points.

Dos Palos can attribute much of their success to Athena Correa, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jayla Bland, who earned seven points.

Tranquillity's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dos Palos, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Tranquillity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-20 defeat against Coalinga on the 21st. Dos Palos has also already played their next match, a 65-19 loss against Firebaugh on the 21st.
