Basketball Recap: Evans Takes a Loss

Evans was the 61-52 winner over Elizabeth when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 81-51. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evans' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Elizabeth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Evans has already played their next game, a 55-4 loss against Anacoco on the 15th. As for Elizabeth, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-38 victory against Bell City on the 14th.
