Volleyball Recap: Algona Takes a Loss

Algona was the 2-1 winner over Forest City when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Saturday.

Algona's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Forest City, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Algona will welcome Iowa Falls-Alden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest City, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lake Mills on the 20th.
