Native American Community Academy was led to victory by Raine Edaakie and Natasha Lucero. Edaakie scored 19 points, while Lucero scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lucero has scored all season.
Native American Community Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Coronado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Native American Community Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mora at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Mora is ranked 122nd, while Native American Community Academy is ranked 108th). As for Coronado, they will be playing at home against Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
