Baseball Recap: Shades Valley Comes Up Short

Shades Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 20-4 to the North Sand Mountain Bison.

Devin Scott was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Joshua Moore was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Even though they lost, Shades Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2024.

Shades Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for North Sand Mountain, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

While Shades Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
