Arcadia/Loup City came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 38-34 victory over the Amherst Broncos. For the Rebels, this counts as revenge for the 60-41 win the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

It was another big night for Eva Jaixen, who posted 13 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Tayler Obermiller, who had eight points and four steals.

Despite the loss, Amherst still got an impressive performance from AnnDee Jaixen, who put up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Cast, who posted seven points.

Arcadia/Loup City's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Amherst, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Arcadia/Loup City will take on St. Paul in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Amherst and Axtell will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
