Basketball Recap: Wasco Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Wasco took on Mira Monte on Friday. The Tigers were outmatched by the Lions and fell 63-33. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-34 back in November.

This is the second loss in a row for Wasco and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Mira Monte, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Wasco will take on Yosemite in a tournament on Wednesday. The Tigers will be up against the Badgers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mira Monte, they will head out on the road to face off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
