Soccer Recap: West Charlotte Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, West Charlotte was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Hopewell Titans, falling 9-0. If West Charlotte were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to Hopewell when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Charlotte dropped their record down to 1-8-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hopewell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3-2.

West Charlotte has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Berry on the 24th. As for Hopewell, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mountain Island Charter on the 21st.
