Haven came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 68-55 victory over the Halstead Dragons. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Dragons are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Haven pushed their record up to 15-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Halstead, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haven will face off against Pratt at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Halstead, they will square off against Smoky Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
