Basketball Game Preview: Dundee/Bradford Central BraveScots vs. South Seneca Falcons

Dundee/Bradford Central is on a four-game streak of home wins, while South Seneca is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Dundee/Bradford Central BraveScots will host the South Seneca Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dundee/Bradford Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.

Last Monday, Dundee/Bradford Central didn't have too much trouble with Odessa-Montour as they won 53-39. Given the BraveScots' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 642nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dundee/Bradford Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Stiles out in front who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Stiles a new career-high in points. Alex Goltry was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, South Seneca hadn't done well against Red Jacket recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. South Seneca simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Red Jacket 82-33. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

South Seneca's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Dundee/Bradford Central, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Dundee/Bradford Central ended up a good deal behind South Seneca in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, losing 50-34. Can Dundee/Bradford Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
