Soccer Recap: Triton Central Sets Scoring Season-High Against Rushville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Triton Central). Everything went their way against the Rushville Lions on Monday as they made off with a 6-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Triton Central needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Rushville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Liam Thompson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Triton Central's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-1. As for Rushville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Triton Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Providence Cristo Rey on the 10th. As for Rushville, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Morristown on the 11th.
