Basketball Recap: New Auburn Victorious

New Auburn proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 26) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They pulled ahead with a 62-61 photo finish over the Gilman Pirates. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

New Auburn's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Gilman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, New Auburn will take on Luck at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilman, they will challenge Neillsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
