Meanwhile, Red River put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand West Fargo a 9-0 shutout. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for Red River this season.

Red River pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Fargo South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
