Football Recap: Shallowater Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Shallowater posted their closest victory since October 25, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Bushland Falcons 28-26. The win was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Shallowater had a senior duo take command as Cooper Martin rushed for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Rylan Brown rushed for 162 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Martin also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Mustangs are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Shallowater was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 306 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Shallowater's record now sits at 5-3. As for Bushland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
