Volleyball Recap: First Baptist School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

First Baptist School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Porter-Gaud Cyclones. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cyclones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 24-26, 25-10.

First Baptist School's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Porter-Gaud, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-12 record this season.

First Baptist School will square off against Charleston Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Porter-Gaud, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Wando on the 10th.
