Recap: El Dorado Golden Hawks vs. Villa Park Spartans
The El Dorado Golden Hawks lost against the Villa Park Spartans back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. El Dorado fell just short of Villa Park by a score of 50-47. El Dorado has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
El Dorado lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Barker, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Hendrix, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Villa Park, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
El Dorado will be playing in front of their home fans against Yorba Linda at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yorba Linda is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Villa Park, they will take on El Modena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: El Modena has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Villa Park will arrive with three straight wins.
