Wando is a perfect 10-0 against Cane Bay since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wando Warriors will challenge the Cane Bay Cobras at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wando will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Friday, then bounced right back against Stratford on Tuesday. Wando's defense stepped up to hand Stratford a 9-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cane Bay was able to grind out a solid victory over Goose Creek on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. Given the Cobras' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Gators are ranked 101st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cane Bay hit Goose Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaelyn Tomes, Ivy Ayers, and Claire Orth.

Wando has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five contests. Cane Bay's win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Wando took their victory against Cane Bay in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wando since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
