Pinecrest Prep came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monsignor Pace Spartans an 8-0 shutout. Pinecrest Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Monsignor Pace from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Maykell Llanez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Pinecrest Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Monsignor Pace, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
