Basketball Game Preview: Sahuarita Mustangs vs. Sahuaro Cougars + How To Watch

Sahuarita hasn't had much luck against Sahuaro recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Sahuarita has given up an average of 58.5 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sahuarita's tournament run continued when they took on Bourgade Catholic on Saturday. The Mustangs took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Sahuarita's defeat came about despite a quality game from Daniel Durazo, who posted 18 points in addition to five steals and three blocks. Those blocks were Durazo's first of the season. Armani Bennett was another key player, putting up seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Sahuaro strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past Tanque Verde to the tune of 86-54. That looming 86-54 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Sahuaro's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Sahuarita, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
