Recap: Covenant Christian Academy vs. Lititz Christian Eagles
Covenant Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lititz Christian. Covenant Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Lititz Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joey Lapp, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lapp has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jack Kriebel, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds.
Covenant Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Lititz Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
Covenant Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against the at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lititz Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
