Softball Recap: Marysville Comes Up Short

Marysville lost against Rock Creek on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs fell 5-2 to the Mustangs. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marysville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Hager, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Grace Turner also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Marysville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Rock Creek, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marysville will face off against Wamego at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Creek, they will square off against Santa Fe Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
