Godwin took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Glen Allen, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Jaguars 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Godwin's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Glen Allen, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Godwin and J.R. Tucker will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glen Allen, they will challenge St. Catherine's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
