Volleyball Recap: East Rowan Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Rowan had won two straight games and Jacee Eudy did her part to make it three on Thursday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against the West Rowan Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Eudy, who hit 85.7% for six kills and 11 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 19 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

East Rowan never let West Rowan on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-22.

Despite the loss, West Rowan still got an impressive performance from Anna Sawyer, who had 12 kills and three blocks.

East Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for West Rowan, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Rowan is set to challenge their familiar foe Concord at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, West Rowan will face off against rival Jay M. Robinson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
