Volleyball Game Preview: Vermillion Tanagers vs. Canton C-Hawks

The Vermillion Tanagers will challenge the Canton C-Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vermillion has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 20.

Vermillion lost 3-0 to Ponca on Tuesday.

While Vermillion was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Ponca's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Canton can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Garretson. The C-Hawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

While Canton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 26-24.

Vermillion's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Canton, their win bumped their record up to 13-15.
