Basketball Recap: White Sulphur Springs Falls Short of Shields Valley in the Playoffs

White Sulphur Springs and Shields Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but White Sulphur Springs had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Shields Valley Rebels by a score of 34-31. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 56-49.

White Sulphur Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Shields Valley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither White Sulphur Springs nor Shields Valley have any future games scheduled.
