Goshen Central's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Valley Central. The victory continues a trend for Goshen Central in their matchups with Valley Central: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Warwick made easy work of Minisink Valley on Tuesday and carried off a 6-1 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Warwick's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Minisink Valley are ranked 422nd).

Warwick's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Goshen Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
