Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Fork). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-6 win over the Grand Valley Cardinals. The victory continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braeden Flores, who rushed for 38 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 42 yards and one TD. Alex Csere was another key back, rushing for 76 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Fork was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 223 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 210 rushing yards in seven consecutive contests.

North Fork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bo Eves, Abell Etter, Tate Fister, and Csere picked up one apiece.

North Fork's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Grand Valley, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
