Softball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia was the 31-14 winner over La Quinta when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Sentinels lost 25-5 to the Aztecs on Monday. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magnolia saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Darlene Phaxayaseng, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for La Quinta, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Magnolia nor La Quinta have any future games scheduled.
