Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Democrats vs. Benson Tech Astros + Official Tickets

Jefferson has gone 8-2 against Benson Tech recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Democrats will venture away from home to challenge the Astros at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for Jefferson and eight for Benson Tech.

Jefferson came up short against Cleveland on Thursday, falling 3-0.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Benson Tech and Ida B. Wells have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Astros lost 3-0 to the Guardians.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Benson Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.

Jefferson was able to grind out a solid win over Benson Tech in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Democrats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
