Soccer Recap: Vacaville Christian Comes Up Short

Vacaville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Rio Vista Rams, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 6-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Manny Cox, who's now up to two this season.

Vacaville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rio Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Esparto the next time they take the pitch. Rio Vista will host Esparto at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Vacaville Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
