Baseball Recap: Twin Falls Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

There's no place like home for Twin Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Mountain Home Tigers on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Bruins: when they faced off against the Tigers on Monday, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Twin Falls got a great performance from Dalton Carter as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Carter has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Thompson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Hoyt Murray was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Twin Falls' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain Home, they moved to 9-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
