Merrillville extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 7-2. They really took it to the Chesterton Trojans for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-7 victory. With the Pirates ahead 28-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
It was another big night for Cameron Jordan, who rushed for 161 yards and three TDs on only nine carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards.
