The Walter Johnson Wildcats will head out to challenge the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Walter Johnson came up short against Seneca Valley and fell 20-13. The Wildcats have struggled against the Screamin' Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Bethesda-Chevy Chase's offense. They took a hard 18-0 fall against Paint Branch on Friday.

Walter Johnson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Walter Johnson couldn't quite get it done against Bethesda-Chevy Chase in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 21-12.
