Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Eagles vs. Canby Cougars

For the second straight game, Centennial will face off against Canby. The Eagles will challenge the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Centennial couldn't beat Canby on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Eagles lost 17-5 to the Cougars. The Eagles have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Logan Landolt was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Centennial is 3-1 when Landolt posts two or more runs, but 1-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Cohen, who earned two RBI and one run.
