Baseball Recap: Wayne Memorial Comes Up Short

Wayne Memorial lost to Churchill on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Zebras lost 19-0 to the Chargers. The Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Churchill, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne Memorial will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th. As for Churchill, they will square off against Chelsea at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
